This room has a northern exposure, which is often dark. However, its white finishes and warm walls offset this tendency to appear dark. Its floral fabrics are bright and elegant, contrasting nicely with the stripe sofa.

This 16-year old kitchen was dated with its dark cabinets and brass handles and geometric wall paper. It was dark, and old sheet vinyl flooring showed its age also.
